Mabel’s Extensive Experience

U.S. Air Force Security Police,
NASA Federal Law Enforcement Training Academy, and the
Department of Defense Federal Conservation Law Enforcement
has provided her with the knowledge and expertise to lead a successful security company dedicated to providing security services to the Federal Government.
Active Duty Air Force Security Police 1986 – 1992
Mabel’s military career in Security Police encompassed the following assignments: KI Sawyer AFB, MI 1986-1989 and RAF Lakenheath, England 1989-1992. Upon separating from the military to pursue her education, she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Minor in Chemistry, graduating Cum Laude from Black Hills State University, Spearfish, SD in December 1997.
Kennedy Space Center/Cape Canaveral AFS 1998-2003
After graduation, she worked at the National Park Service in a seasonal position, conducting Sea Turtle Nesting Surveys. During this time, she accepted an opportunity to return to her Air Force roots as a contract security officer at Kennedy Space Center and Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. With dedication and hard work, Mabel worked her way up the ranks to become a Supervisor and then an Instructor for NASA’s Federal Law Enforcement Training Academy.
U.S. Air Force Civilian Biological Scientist/Conservation Law Enforcement 2003-2018
In 2003, Mabel accepted a position that combined her college degree and security police experience. As a Biological Scientist and Federal Conservation Law Enforcement Officer, she protected natural and cultural resources for the 45SW at Cape Canaveral AFS and Patrick AFB, FL.
While attending Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) to obtain her Natural Resource Police Training, Ms. O’Quinn was awarded the FLETC Director’s award, for exemplifying the highest values of a Federal Law Enforcement Officer.
After serving in the position for 15 years, Mabel departed the Air Force to focus on her business as President and CEO of Patronus Systems.
Space Coast Living
Mabel along with her husband Rick and daughter Jacklyn are active members of the Space Coast community, where they have lived for over 20 years. The O’Quinn family and Patronus Systems Inc. are proud supporters of youth sports and education by sponsoring youth hockey, volleyball, dance, and cheerleading sporting activities.
Professionalism and Integrity
Professionalism and Integrity are her driving force. Mabel is a proud employer and supporter of America’s veteran workforce and was the recipient of the Washington State Employment Security Department’s Hire-A-Veteran Award.
Additionally, she is an active Lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans Association.
